MARO Burger
This is our favorite burger in Laguna Beach
Rack of Lamb
Maro Wood Grill is absolutely amazing. First of all, I'm a big fan of organic and sustainable foods, so they won me over with that. Second I love wood-grilled food. I had the rack of lamb medium rare with shishito peppers and a glass of Pino Noir. I was in food heaven everything came out perfect I can't wait to go back.
MARO Burger
We have travelled the planet and so far this is the best sustainably raised grass fed burger that exists!
Grilled Edamame
The best edamame I have had.
MARO Burger
Delicious burger with wonderful heirloom tomatoes I had it without the bacon.! Served with a side of potatoes. Quite a treat.
Grilled Shishito Peppers
A bit smokey & savory, with a hint of salt, truly a unique appetizer that readies that palate for what's to come. Yum!
Rib Eye CAP
I have been coming here for years, and the Ribeye Cap is my go-to dish. They have a great selection of sides to go with it and the chimichurri is sublime.
Mushroom Empanada
My wife and I had been to a very nice restaurant in Buenos Aires and believed we had found the best Mushroom Empanada one could possibly hope for.....not so. Maro's was so savory we intentionally paused between each bite to make it last. Thank you!
Branzino
A fabulous dish! It is a must try!
Banana Bread Pudding
Sunny Friday in Laguna Beach asks for a lunch out, and if you get early enough, you can even get a parking spot. What I loved about Maro was the experience, the music is upbeat, decor, chairs and seating are on point. But what I need to rave about is the service, Emilio was amaaazing! Always smiling and super pleasant he mad my work lunch, it is hard to find an employee like him. But wait, I wont forget about the food, the empanadas are very good. However, the show maker was the desert: the banana bread. Emilio suggested and I was like (???) Banana bread before brownie? before a chocolate cake? How does that makes sense? OH IT DOES! The banana bread is not that hard thing you are used to, it comes in a bed of a kind of milk with thin sugar on top. I tasted and felt my heart warmer. So fluffy, moist and not too sweet. Pretty solid desert! When the bill came, I founded out that they had a rewards program so I redeemed my free desert... I though and said to myself: Today was a good day.
